God will rescue you; just the way you are; just be yourself. You are completely accepted by Him, and do not have to be a certain way for Him to love you and help you. He already loves you and wants to help you. You are His treasure already. There is a reason for you to get up every day.
Ephesians 2:8 reminds us that it is “by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God” (ESV). We cannot earn salvation in any way, but God gives it to us when we repent of our sins and accept Jesus as our Saviour. God loves each of us so much, that He made a way for us to be rescued. We do not have to try to be good enough.
“For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through Him” (John 3:17, ESV).
God rescued me. He heard my prayers and cries for help, when I felt trapped and did not know what to do. My heart was full of fear and brokenness. From a young age I had, without realising it, come to believe that it was better to hide behind what I thought others would tolerate, rather than just be myself. I only really trusted, and spoke to, my family. God reached out to me, saved me and set me on the path of healing ever since. I was involved in an unhealthy romantic relationship; I did not fully understand how God saw me, and what He had planned for romantic relationships to be like. I am now in my mid-thirties, and am at peace and whole; all I need is God. I am still learning every day, and it is an exciting adventure to get to know God more and more each day.
God wants to rescue every lady, young and old, from situations where they feel less than a princess. There are no exceptions; He adores every single one of His daughters. “But to all who did receive Him, who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God” (John 1:12, ESV). The only way that I have been able to open up and just be myself, is because God chased after me and healed my heart. God’s love is abundant for each person. God’s grace is for each person, no matter what you have done. It is so important to God for you to just be yourself.
Prayer
Dear Father God,
You are Mighty Creator of heaven and earth, and You also love each one of us. You have a plan for us, and You care about the details in our lives. Thank-You for loving me so much. I open my heart to you, and ask for you to please forgive me where I have sinned. Thank-You for rescuing me. I want to know You more and more. Thank-You for making me into the person you created me to be.
In Jesus name, Amen.
